2 years ago, I decided to undergo weight loss surgery. The weight fell off really fast, and I was looking for something physical to do. I had run my first 5K but found running was not my passion. A kickboxing place opened up very close to my house, and I thought I’d give it a try. Well, I fell in love!
What do I like about Shape up Kickboxing? I love that any fitness level can workout and feel comfortable. It’s not like the big gyms where people go to be seen. Everyone there is just like me...working toward bettering themselves and super friendly. The workout is great! The Cardio, strength, balance, and punching!! After a class, I feel both energized and worn out at the same time!! Through kickboxing, I have been able to maintaining my weight loss and really seeing great muscle definition.
