As a company that's started by people who love martial arts, we love that there's another opportunity to share our passions of transforming lives with more people! At Shape Up Kickboxing, our group fitness kickboxing classes challenge our members to have a blast sweating through workouts that infuse cardio, HIIT, muscle building, endurance, and flexibility. While burning hundreds of calories and toning up, our members love strapping on the gloves and tearing it up at the bags! As having a fun-packed fitness class is the goal, we also prioritize in teaching proper forms and safety to each of our members. make sure they're doing it right.

What is a shape UP Kickboxing Workout like?

A Shape Up Kickboxing Class is broken up into five sections: Warm Up, Stretching, The Bags, Partner Drills, and Cool Down!

Warm Up

Cardio blast! Running, burpees, the 100's of various pushups and sit-ups, mountain climbers—you name it! The heart rate goes up!

Stretching

The muscles warmed up, we guide members through hamstring stretches, shoulder stretches, and more. This part is important, as it prepares the body for the next part!

The Bags

Next, the kickboxers strap on their gloves and go through several rounds of bag work. Warm up with some jab-cross, and then increase the complexity and fun! Create combos with various kicks, punches, and more! We even throw in a speed round at the end to squeeze every ounce of cardio burning and muscle shredding!

Partner Drills

Have everyone partner up to overcome exercise challenges that you and instructor team come up with! There's a variety of fun that can be thrown in this section, and everyone gets ramped up!

Cool Down

After constantly moving around and sweating, we conclude class with a cool down. Guide their heart rates back down and get in that final stretch. Everyone goes home like a new person!
