Shape Up Kickboxing Cumming | When it comes to trying to live healthier, we can always strive to focus on small changes. The idea for small changes is to look for ways to naturally add something to our day.
For instance, if you’re trying to walk more, you may be inspired to park farther away from the store, take the stairs, walk to the farthest away bathroom at work, or even walk in place at the microwave. By finding these opportunities throughout your day, you get to also reap in the benefits. Because you found ways to walk more, you feel energized, happier, and more relaxed.
Another small change we could strive for is to make sure to drink enough water. As the weather is getting hotter, we’re sweating a lot more. People have found different ways to include more water into their day. The options include adding fruits, vegetables, and herbs to flavor water, investing in a time marked water bottle, scheduling water breaks, and including water-rich foods into one’s diet. We can also use apps to track our water in-take.
Other than the weather becoming hotter, drinking enough water is important. For one, it becomes sweat, which cools the body down. Another reason, it aids in digestion. If one is dehydrated, they’re more prone to digestion problems. The stomach may be more acidic, which increases the likelihood of heartburns. Lastly, drinking enough water maintains blood pressure. Lack of water = thicker blood = increased blood pressure.
Trying to go for those big results don’t have to come from big changes. The small changes we make are intended to be more like lifestyle changes. When we’re able to stick to these, the results naturally come, and they show how consistency in the smallest form plays a role to our health.
